                                                                                         AFTER-SCHOOL

The Center is constantly rethinking and reshaping their programs so that all the young people that walk through our doors can benefit from what we offer. Whether it be homework club, arts, clay, crafts, science, cooking or sports, we pride ourselves on developing interesting workshops to keep our students minds busy and engaged.

Saturday mornings have extra help with Mr. Robert in Math and Spelling.
This After-School program uniquely engages our students in visual and performance arts.

SOFO

Our After-School children have benefitted greatly from the partnership with South Fork Natural History Museum and the STEAM Enrichment programming. Students explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math thru visits to the museum, outdoor guided nature walks and hands-on workshops at The Center and SOFO, and Innovation Camp (iCAMP).

YARP

The Young Artists in Residence Project worked with artist Lua Rivera, from Mexico. She led the students in nest-making activities which  will be part of one large piece that will be added onto by children in Taiwan.  Lilian Colosso, a performance artist from Brazil, filmed a piece with the kids for a drone video as part of her project "To Embrace the World."

SCRABBLE CLUB
